This day was so much fun! There are so many photos I want to post- but I am slammed this week so they will have to wait. Katie, my amazing sidekick at Elizabeth Galecke Photography, is out on vacation, and I am trying to hold down the fort!
Tomorrow I have another shoot at the Gaddy Center- I am so excited. We had planned to only shoot Black and White, but the folks at Easter Seals UCP decided they would like some color too, so I am heading back for more photographs of the sweet kids there. I hope the weather cooperates!
On Monday my 10 year old nephew, Sawyer, is flying to Raleigh to stay with us for a week! I am sooooo excited! I will be juggling work and play all next week, it is going to be wonderful. Post any suggestions you might have for what to do with a 10 year old boy! We have planned so far an evening excusion to the Museum of Life and Science they are having a black light bug hunt on Saturday the 22nd! They even have entomologists on hand to help the kids identify the species! And then we are also checking out the new Harry Potter movie in 3D at Marbles/Imax Theater they are having a huge event on the 21st with magic, a theater group performance and games- sounds really cool for a kid who can’t get enough of Harry Potter! So that is a start, I think we will do a night of camping with some canoeing at Umstead, and he has requested sushi- so Sushi Blues is calling! We won’t be able to make it out of town this trip- but I think it is going to still be a blast! I can’t wait!
