Sunrise on the beach!

Yesterday morning my alarm woke me up at 4:30am to get to my sunrise photo shoot in Emerald Island. Yikes, it was EARLY! Is is never easy getting up that early, but once I got on the road, wind in my hair, and met my  two year old client who was beaming at 6 in the morning- you know you are in for a good day! She had tons of ringlets cascading in her face- and a smile I couldn’t wait to capture on film. We went to the beach and the light was incredible too! I am so excited to see what I got on film- I need to get permission first, but I hope to post some of the photos when they are in.

Making photographs at the beach has its challenges… bugs, rain, wind, humidity, heat, open space for children to run,(away from you) waves crashing…hampering communication- It all can be really tough- especially at 6 in the morning! But some days everything is just easy, and that just rocks! Now that I am thinking about it…I have had a wonderful week this week- everyone has been amazing to work with. Other than the rain this week- it has been perfect- amazing cool nights and mornings, low humidity, and a small breeze to take away the bugs. And the best part…wonderful, sweet, clients. Thank you!
