a success! The High Heeled Walk for Women last weekend, and fundraiser for Nancy’s Butterfly fund Inaugural Ball this weekend!

The Walk for Women was a smashing success for it’s first year! We raised over $4000.00 for the Women’s Center of Wake County! www.wcwc.org Here are some highlights! For the full album, check out my facebook page:     http://www.facebook.com/people/Elizabeth-Galecke/782889054#/pages/West-Raleigh-NC/Elizabeth-Galecke-Photography/57391098070?ref=ts We had men and women in heels for the one mile walk- it was so much fun!

This Saturday is another amazing event, for a good cause- The Inaugural Ball for Nancy’s Butterfly Fund(www.nancysbutterflyfund.org)  , benefitting Interact of Wake County(www.interactofwake.org). Nancy Cooper was a wonderful client of mine, so I am happy to be a small part of this weekend’s event by donating a session for the auction. http://www.auctionzip.com/cgi-bin/auctionview.cgi?lid=636418&kwd=&zip=27518&category=0

The Walk for Women to Benefit the Women's Center of Wake County

I am so excited about an event I am co-hosting with my friend, Allison Beale, who owns George Public Relations. We have been working on sponsorships, marketing(we will be in the next issue of Midtown Magazine), and logistics. Allison has been amazing at getting people involved already. I am working on it! Planning events is one of my favorite volunteer activities- especially ones which benefit women/children in need. It is so important for me to work on projects like this- I have learned so many new skills, I have made amazing friends, and it is so rewarding organizing something, and seeing it succeed! This is a call out to get you involved…We are looking for Sponsors at levels starting at $100.00 as well as we want to have lots of walkers! Please check out the website for more info, to sign up to walk, or to become a sponsor… and for up to the minute updates, check out our facebook page, the links are both here. Thank you!!!
