I’ve now finished editing the 287 photos that I have narrowed down to 20 and would like to share them!!

From Elizabeth: it has been so inspiring working with Rae this summer- she is an amazing photographer! She is only 10 years old and has such a creative eye! She has made me look at my work in a different way, taking more chances with shooting, and playing more with my camera. So fun! I am looking forward to seeing what she does this summer- and getting more into my creative work as well! Today we are on our way to Durham to see work at Duke Documentary Studies as well as a show at the Eno River Unitarian Universalist fellowship- “Quiet Places” and then from there we are going to do a little shooting! Whoohoo!

Our 5 year old niece came to stay with us the day after Memorial Day for two weeks! We had so much fun- and of course it was well documented! Here are some of the photos of her and her new Raleigh friends! We are so fortunate to have so many great things to do in the Triangle! as well as a sweet cat that likes to cuddle and lots of watermelon!

From Rae: On June 5th 2013 I met up with Elizabeth to do a photo shoot. I photographed her niece, Mady and her friend, Kristen’s daughter, Mady. We worked on capturing natural poses and making people do the things that you want them to without forcing it. today, we edited through 287 photos and narrowed it down to 20. Then we chose one and edited it on picmonkey. I did various edits and made a collage. here it is!! Next week, we will post a gallery of my 20 images and look out for more all summer!!
